How awesome it was to have a group of people come out and spend an entire Saturday helping fix things at the camp. This group will be using the camp at the end of August for a church camp. There were 25-30 people that came from Oklahoma, Texas and Mississippi. They worked hard. They put a new pump into one of the wells and connected it to the bathroom/shower facility. They also cleaned the cabins, fixed leaks in 2 of the bathroom facilities and cleaned them, cleaned the cafeteria, washed all the dishes and cleaned all the mattresses! I’m sure I have forgotten some of the things they did, but they were incredible!!! They endured the heat – over 100 degrees that day and also found that wasps were camping out in some of the cabins! There were a few that got stung by the wasps! This group was absolutely a blessing sent from God to us! Thank you to all of you who participated!!! You were such an encouragement to Dave and I!!!
