We have been pushing hard at refurbishing the youth camp portion of the property and plan to have some functions here this summer. We have had many people voluteer to help and that has really accelerated our progress. Disciples of Dirt has had several work days here and Mike Purcell from OCCRA has also contributed many hours on the facility as well as the course work for the race.

We enjoyed visiting with our friends, Dan and Kathie Stowell last week. They are missionaries in Brazil and are in the states till May. They stopped by and spent about a week here. While they were here, they worked hard! We so appreciate their willingness to help us out! It really was a blessing to us! Dan painted the inside of our bathroom facilities for us. They look terrific! The difference some paint can make is amazing! George(Julie’s dad), went in after Dan painted the walls and he put paint down on the floors. We hope to get the outside of the bathrooms painted this week. Kathie helped do the masking necessary in the bathrooms and also went into the guest house and cleaned it. The mice had decided that since no one was living in the house, it was ok for them to move in! Kathie has that place absolutely immaculate! She did a fantastic job! Thank you Dan and Kathie for using part of your precious time here in the states helping us out! It is greatly appreciated!!! And thank you Dad – you do so much for us here! We wouldn’t be anywhere near where we are today if you weren’t out there helping us! We love and appreciate all you do!
