For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer,

Ricardo Malo is a friend from my racing days. He lives in Mexicali and was kidnapped on monday the 28th in broad daylight in Mexicali. The kidnappers are demanding a much higher ransom than is feasible for the family to raise. We know he was injured in the kidnapping because there is blood in the pickup he was driving. Pray for his safe return to his family. He has a wife and three young children.

One of the agents involved in Ricardo’s rescue was shot and hospitalized. Please pray for him and the doctor’s that are treating him.

Eight kidnappers were arrested

Please pray for Eliot and Silda Spitzer and family that they would experience healing and be given the strength to bear the pain that has been caused.

Here is a note from Tori’s MySpace blog

So, my neurologist called yesterday. I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS). I thought that it was going to be something neurological, but she (the arrogant neurologist) was positive that it was not MS. I am currently reading “MS for Dummies” and can reassure that I am not going to die tomorrow. MS is a degenerative disorder, but I will be able to continue my life, with some difficulties thrown into the mix. So what does this mean for my life?

I will be disenrolled from ROTC, with no obligations to the Army. I will not be returning to Northwest, either. My insurance is located in San Diego, as is my family. I don’t think that I will be continuing with nursing school because it is so rigorous. Instead, I think that I am going to pursue a teaching degree.

I just want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. My family can really use them right now.

:) Tori
